PARTICIPATORY ACTION RESEARCH

Participatory action research (PAR) is a set of principles and methodologies that centers the people closest to the experience as the leaders of the research. PAR rejects the idea that research is limited to academics and institutions, and provides a construct for marginalized communities to envision and enact solutions that will impact their everyday lives.

Interested in PAR but not sure if you can commit to an in-depth training? The 'PAR for the Curious' workshop will introduce your team to Participatory Action Research in an engaging format - and it can be incorporated into Professional Development sessions, meetings, gatherings, and anywhere else people convene! Introductory workshops can be followed up by a more in-depth PAR training and development series.
